For many years I worked with Nikon, Hasselblad and Leica M analogue cameras, today only with Nikon and Fujifilm digital cameras. Since 4 years 99 % of my photographs are taken with Fujifilm X cameras, X Pro-2 and X T-2.
Nikon lenses: 24 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 55 mm, 60 mm, 85 mm, 300 mm
Fujifilm lenses: 14 mm, 16 mm, 23 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 50-140 mm
Nikon lenses I use with Fujifilm cameras: 55 mm, 85 mm, 300 mm
I always work with available light, no flash. Flash I only need for studio portraits. Sometimes I use my Gitzo Studex tripod or Monostad monopod, but I prefer a handhold way of working.
I am a black & white photographer and worked with Ilford HP5 Plus, a film which delivers excellent results when developed in ID-11. Fujifilm offers me with the build in film simulations a great tool to create high quality b&w photographs, which are not comparable with any conversion using a photo postproduction software. Colour photographs taken by me you will not see so much, I use colour in my images only when it is essential for a special expression of a photograph.
